Price was perfect for the place we stayed. 300 ft from a bus stop with frequent service to magnificent mile..
The room we initially booked was tiny. Good size for individual 1 night, but if your staying for a few days upgrade to the 2 room.

Loved it. Had a good breakfast each morning, easy public transportation access, but the bus routes are changing Feb 7th 2010, be sure to check up on them first. Not al ot of dinning nearby, but overall a good experience. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly. ...read more

Great Lincoln Park location. Near the bus line to downtown and near the train 'el' stop. Parking was located in a condo building behind the hotel. Good breakfast offered. Many restaurants in the neighborhood. Would stay here again. ...read more

Nice neighborhood feel and setting.
No immediate parking which is normal for this area.

Very quaint with nice interior. Older building that was converted and is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The normal rooms are a little small but this is not a factor if you are only there in the evening to sleep. I enjoyed my stay and would book there again. ...read more

Perfectly clean room with plush, luxuriant towels.
Creaky floors, very little natural light, standard rooms are small.

This hotel is very charming. It's an old building, but clean and well-maintained. This is not the type of hotel where I would plan on spending very much time enjoying the room. The standard rooms are small and there is no view. ...read more

The continental breakfast was more than adequate!
The hide-a-bed in my room was awful.

This is an older hotel with character. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was very nice, except for the ugly green couch/hide-a-bed and noisy radiators. But those were minor issues, and the bed was very comfortable. ...read more

It was very close to Wrigley Field and not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown.
The lobby is where you get the continental breakfast and there just isn't enough room. It's not a comfortable place to eat.

The hotel and staff were great. Parking was very close to the hotel and much cheaper than anywhere else. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The shower was wonderful. We never ran out of hot water and there were five of us in our room. The only negative was the space provided for breakfast. You weren't able to sit comfortably to eat. ...read more

Fantastic staff, wonderful ambiance, great experience.

I loved this hotel. It is close to downtown, the staff got my room ready quickly since I arrived very early in the day. Gus at the front desk recommended a great restaurant within walking distance to eat breakfast while they prepared my room. This hotel has a wonderful library/sitting room with a cozy fireplace to relax and have coffee and tea. The hotel room itself was clean and the bed very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful bright and clean clean bathroom. Excellent experience all around! Highly recommend and would return there! ...read more

Great spot, friendly staff and
nice breakfast.

Very good place to stay and we had a suite and it was very spacious. We would definitely stay at the Majestic again.
